Advantage Insulation did an insulation job on my 75 year old home. They are hands down about the best company I’ve ever hired! They have expert knowledge of the field. Ed, Mike, Taylor, and the whole crew have an outstanding customer-centered work ethic. They put spray foam insulation on the attic floor followed by blown-in cellulose, and spray foam on the ceiling of my basement/garage. They were punctual, cost effective, knowledgeable, neat, and 100% respectful of me, my house, and my property. Ed answered my many questions about spray foam and verbally walked me through the process before workers arrived. Installers laid down plastic where they needed to walk inside my house and cordoned off an area for attic access, thus keeping dust at zero. The crew of six worked the entire day (it was a hot summer day), some working in the attic and the others in the basement. Old pink insulation was removed before the new spray foam was added. They finished after six in the evening. My house and property looked like it had been untouched. When they removed the plastic on my floors, they also vacuumed the whole area! As the weather was hot, I used my air conditioning and immediately noticed a difference. The unit didn’t have to run as frequently and the house was very comfortable. Now that it’s Fall, I’ve had my heat on twice. The house came up to the set temp quickly. Thank you, Advantage Insulation, for making my house much more energy efficient!

Advantage Insulation did an excellent job on the attic and crawl space in the townhouse where I live. I chose to work with this company after meeting with owners of about 3 other ones because Mike, the co-owner of Advantage, listened to my concerns and took them seriously. He prepared 3 different plans and I was able to choose the one I felt most comfortable with. Two of the other companies had a one size fits all approach. The third proposed a similar plan to the one I chose with Advantage, but the price was 3 times the one Mike quoted. This is a family owned and operated business, too, and it made a big difference for me in the way they responded to questions and how they helped me through the process. All of the people I interacted with were respectful and responsive. Most importantly, my home is much more comfortable and my heating bill has been much lower during this extremely cold winter. I highly recommend this company.

Very friendly and efficient crews and clean too! Very impressed with the workmanship. I was shown all the work they were doing and had it all explained to me as they were moving along. Really great company to work with, I am in Kingston and the city was being really difficult about some building permit related items. Advantage worked closely with the city and the state to resolve the issues, keeping me informed along the way. I got spray insulation done in my attic and basement, they took care of all the NYSERDA paperwork to get the rebate. They also took away and disposed of the old popcorn style insulation in my attic which was a huge mess and left the attic spotless. Start to finish great communication and great work. Highly recommend them!
